This fund has been established due to Blaine's tragic death in Boston, MA on September 18, 2013 at the tender age of 30.

The Blaine Magowan Memorial Fund will give all donations to his family to help them deal financially with Blaine's passing. To return Blaine home from the United States to British Columbia where he will be laid to rest is much more costly than his family can afford at this time. Please use one of the three methods listed below if you would like to donate and help bring closure to his family and friends. No donation is too small and all are gratefully appreciated and will be acknowledged.

A little biography about Blaine written by his family

Blaine Magowan was born in Kamloops, BC on September 14, 1983. Blaine was raised in Quesnel for the first five years of his life and then his family moved to Prince George. Blaine went to Ron Brent Elementary School, Duchess Park Secondary School and Kelly Road Secondary School for his High school days where Blaine graduated 2001. Its hard to explain how wonderful of a person Blaine is because he is such a free spirit and wears his big heart on his sleeve. By no means was he raised in a wealthy family but Blaine knew how to appreciate the small things in life and not to judge anyone. So many people have grown to love this man because of his carefree mentality, personality, and amazing laugh.
Blaine had so many amazing talents. Whether it was his musicality, artistry, or sportsmanship. Blaine would adapt to any challenge and take anything head on! Whether that be his many successful skydiving journeys, wanting to become a tattoo artist, or play a huge gig in Vancouver after only a week of hardcore practice.
Blaine was truly amazing and truly loved by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. Please donate to bring him home. Unfortunate events have occurred on September 18, 2013. Blaine Magowan was found dead in Boston, US, by the Boston PD. Our biggest goal right now is to try and bring him back into Canada so we can have his funeral service. Please help and donate whatever you can. Help us bring Blaine home.
